初段?3段?グレーディングの難しさ!

This is a story about when Mr. Nakagawa climbed a problem that he thought the first ascent was probably a 1st dan. It was incredibly difficult, far beyond the difficulty of a 1st dan, and he felt it should be a 3rd dan. However, it seems the first ascenter used a completely different sequence of moves. That move clearly benefited from reach, and indeed, for someone who can reach that one move, it's understandable why it might be considered a 1st dan. If (though unlikely) the area where this problem is located were to be opened to the public and a topo were published, what would the grade of this problem be? 1st dan? 3rd dan? ★Climbing Gym Higurashi → https://www.instagram.com/ higurashi_climbing?igsh=MTFsaXNnMXA1c2o2Ng%3D%3 D&utm_source=qr https://climbing-higurashi.com
