Alaska Moose Harvest - A Thanksgiving surprise
After being a part of the Alaska Roadkill List for almost one year we finally got the call! Thanksgiving night, in negative 18 degree F weather, we set out to pick up our first moose. With temperatures being so cold we rushed to process the moose as quickly as possible. We are very grateful for getting this moose. Our freezer is now full of many meals to last us until hunting season next year.
