(I hate it with a straight face! 😤) Because there is a place where you can see the true essence hidden within the cold shell of a monitor—the serious questions about existence, Eastern philosophy, and "real art" that was ahead of its time that he dedicated his entire life to—I visited a very special place today. It is none other than the Nam June Paik Art Center, located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do! To mark the 20th anniversary of the passing of Nam June Paik this year, the 'Nam June Paik Media Art Festival,' the world's first global media art festival bearing his name, has embarked on a grand journey that runs until next February 🎉 (We shouldn't just go to rock festivals or jazz festivals anymore; we need to come to the MIA Festival now, Mimis!)
