Jak powstają bloczki silikatowe? - Fabryki w Polsce
Calcium silicate blocks are an increasingly popular material used in house construction. Their main advantages include acoustic insulation and compressive strength. They are also highly resistant to frost and other weather conditions. They are made of mineral materials, and their production technology has been known since the 1880s. Today, we will examine this process. For this purpose, we visited the NIEMCE Building Materials Production Company. The most important ingredients needed for production are sand, lime, and water. For the first step, we go to the mine in Wólka Rokicka. A front-end loader collects sand from the slope and feeds it to a screen. Here, individual fractions are separated. 90% is sand with a grain diameter of up to 2 mm. The rest is oversize material in the form of gravel, stones, and boulders. The sand is then loaded onto truck trailers and transported to the plant in Niemce. Here, it is transferred via conveyor belts to the production tanks. Lime also enters the tanks. It's time to prepare the mixture. The individual ingredients are automatically weighed. 90 percent is sand, 8 percent lime, and 2 percent water. Everything is now thoroughly mixed. The process takes about 4 minutes. The result is a 2.5-ton batch of the mixture, which is transported to the reactors. The lime slaking reaction takes place in the devices. At a temperature of 60-80 degrees Celsius, the sand releases water, which reacts with the lime, specifically calcium oxide. After a few hours, the mixture is fed to automatic presses, where, after moistening, silicate blocks are formed. Any that are not properly compressed are rejected from the line. The blocks are still brittle, so they need to be hardened. They are placed on trolleys that will be fed into a 40-meter-long autoclave. This is where the products will be hardened and tempered. A set of 33 trolleys are wheeled into one device. After the autoclave is opened, the trolleys with the blocks are wheeled to the finished products warehouse where they will cool. At every stage, production quality is monitored. The mixture, including the lime content, is tested in the laboratory. Material is taken from each batch and tested for strength. We return to the warehouse. After cooling, the blocks are transferred to the palletizing line. Here, the stack from the trolley is placed on unfolded pallets and then wrapped in stretch foil. Finally, the pallet is collected from the line and moved to a designated location in the warehouse storage area. After being loaded onto a truck, they will be delivered to the project site. Silicate blocks from the Niemce plant are used in the construction of single-family homes and apartment buildings throughout the country. Factories in Poland is a journey through production plants located throughout Poland. It's safe to say we're exploring industry in Poland. We were inspired by the popular Discovery Channel program "How It's Made?". Every week, we visit a production plant with our viewers to see how a selected production process is carried out. Each week, a documentary appears on our channel, revealing how items like machinery, cable slings, yachts, wires, windows, railway switches, radiators, Styrofoam, and more are produced. You're probably also interested in how food is made? On our channel, we've featured sausages, Pepsi, Prince Polo, Lay's chips, breadsticks, mustards, ketchup, mayonnaise, cheese, and much more. It's amazing how fascinating production can be. Science and technology offer so much interesting information. Every week, you'll discover the hidden secrets of factories. The factory holds no secrets for us. -- Check out our other recommended videos: Prefabricated Houses - Factories in Poland How are windows made? - Factories in Poland How are steel houses made? - Factories in Poland Concrete Roof Tile Factory - Factories in Poland #factoriesinpoland #house #production #constructionmaterials #silicates
