$10 Order Turned Into $77… Then It Happened Again

Delivery day in Las Vegas with two unexpected DoorDash payouts that completely changed the day. Everything was done in the car during the lunch shift. Started the day with a catering order going to a regular drop-off near the airport. That order paid $26 and change for about a $300 value. After the drop-off, I was stuck near the airport with no immediate orders, so I worked my way back toward the home zone. Picked up a DoorDash that showed $10+ for 40 items going a few miles. It looked promising, but I wasn’t expecting what it turned into. At pickup, the order was packed into large trays inside plastic crates, more like catering than individual meals. At drop-off, there was a bit of confusion finding the exact location since no suite number was provided. That $10+ order ended up paying $77 and change. That delivery placed me near the strip, so I headed back toward the home zone and picked up another DoorDash. This one showed $21+ for two items going about 10 miles. It was a barbecue order packed into catering-style containers. Smooth freeway drive and easy drop-off at a business location. That $21+ order turned into $43+. Closed out the lunch shift making about $120 just from those two DoorDash orders. No dinner shift for this day. Total for the day came out to about $147. @jaypdelivery documents real delivery days in Las Vegas focusing on real gig work, real routes, and honest earnings.
