A crowd of over 50,000 witnessed another classic in Boulder as the Buffaloes delivered their second ranked victory under Coach Prime Quarterback Kaidon Salter rebounded in a big way, completing 16-of-27 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns while posting a 176.1 QB rating with no interceptions or sacks. The transfer QB connected early and often with Joseph Williams, who hauled in eight catches for a season-high 128 yards and a 3-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter. Omarion Miller added three receptions for 82 yards, including a 70-yard strike that ignited the Buffs’ offense right out of halftime. Running back Micah Welch opened the scoring with an 8-yard touchdown run to cap a 12 play, 90-yard drive, while Alejandro Mata’s 29-yard field goal late in the fourth sealed the win. Colorado’s defense held strong when it mattered most.
