Itapororoca is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Paraíba, located in the Mamanguape-Rio Tinto Immediate Geographic Region. According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, its estimated population in 2023 was 19,054. Its area is 145.806 km². Its predominant biomes are the Cerrado and the Atlantic Forest. The municipality stands out nationally as the largest pineapple producer in Paraíba, and due to the quality of this fruit, it also boasts free water: Itapororoca is one of the few cities in Brazil where water is free. Tourist attractions: Itapororoca is known for its natural beauty, including the remnants of poorly preserved Atlantic Forest, the temporary rivers, and its relief. There are also flour mills and sugarcane distilleries (Camurim, Campo Verde, Sedução, Amoré, Curral Grande, and Luana). Regarding tourist attractions, Itapororoca offers the Parque da Nazça, where public swimming pools are a highlight.
