Die Hüvener Mühle in Hüven

To mark the publication of the new volume in the series of workbooks on monument preservation in Lower Saxony, focusing on mills in the Emsland region, the Lower Saxony State Office for Monument Preservation is hosting a book launch at the Haren Mill Museum on Open Monument Day, September 12th, at 11:00 a.m. Since the event is limited to a certain number of attendees due to COVID-19 restrictions, we visited four of the mills with the author, Rüdiger Wormuth, and local officials, and filmed the visits. 3. The Hüven Mill, a combined wind and water mill, is a striking sight, though its significance is rooted in the difficult circumstances faced by millers in Hüven.
