John Brim Gary Stomp and Tough Times Guitar Lesson

John Brim is best known as the original performer/writer of "Ice Cream Man" famously covered by Van Halen, but blues freaks know his whole body of work to be indispensable. Not only does Little Walter do some of his best work on many of his songs, but there's great guitar playing by Eddie Taylor, Jimmy Rogers and by John Brim himself! I love his yin-yang balance of pretty Jimmy Rogers/even Scrapper Blackwell style and his biting, stinging notes. Or am I totally wrong and it's ET on the lead as some of you have suggested? I think it's a lot like ET but not but I am totally certain by any means. I'm driving myself crazy lol! Either way it's a great to learn. Best of all, it's not virtuosic-- it's the kind of solos and chords that a beginner can get a handle on and learn by example how to construct meaningful blues solos. Have fun!
