How I Made The Highway Obsolete | Cities Skylines 2

Lithia bay is about to change forever. The current rail network was built as a collection of direct connections, each added to reach a specific destination. It works well for the airport, the university, and regional travel beyond the county. But it was never designed to move people between districts inside Lithia Bay. Most residents live far from a train station, and buses aren’t set up to bridge that gap. Which means everyday trips that rail could handle ends up on the interstate. The interstate that seems to be constantly jammed. With large scale development already approved, Lex Linwood knows this needs to become priority #1. Working with the County Department of Transportation, he signs off on a plan to restructure passenger rail. So today, we’re building a brand new rail yard to fix our capacity issue, reconfiguring and expanding the rail network, building two new train stations, improving bus service, starting phase 1 of the new “downtown” development, and much more.
