I was walking in the wilderness one day When I thought I heard a burning scrub brush say My son, you're surely headed the wrong way You know the truth; it's time you should obey. I called you in this world but from your sin And now I find you walking there again And if you head that way you'll never win Because your sin will surely do you in. I wonder why God loves a man like me For I was blind because I would not see Yes, willfully I wandered aimlessly But God is God, and God has rescued me.
