45 King at home in his "Studio With a View" in NYC
45 King at home in his "Studio With a View" Includes interviews with Russell Simmons, Fab 5 Freddy, MC Lyte & Lakim, with free style rhymes by MC Lyte & Lakim. Featuring Nathan Purdee as host Cinematographer - Dan Fong Produced by David Ackerman, Dan Fong & Mark James - RIP 45 Club - Back story I introduced Mark to Nathan Purdee over breakfast at The Pink Teacup, shortly after Nathan had relocated to Manhattan to star on One Life To Live. They hit it off immediately and among other things we discussed was the possibility of producing a rap-oriented talk show. This video was our initial effort toward creating a pilot for that kind of a show. Dan Fong & I had worked on many projects together in Colorado & New York, and his ability to find the best of the footage we shot was vital to this clip. Thanks are due to Russell, Freddy, Lyte & Lakim for their time & contributions. DA
