And yet, after the encounter, you suddenly feel empty, tense, or emotionally exhausted. This video explores the psychological dynamics behind such relationships: emotional labor, subtle self-esteem regulation, hypervigilance, and the feeling of constantly having to co-regulate. Why some conversations drain energy even though "everything seems normal" on the surface, and why exhaustion after a date is no coincidence. 00:00 Intro 01:58 Characteristic 1 03:35 Characteristic 2 05:16 Characteristic 3 07:05 Characteristic 4 08:57 Characteristic 5 FAQ: For those interested enough to read the description, here are answers to the most common questions: What do you do for a living? I'm a coach and I help people shape their lives in a self-determined and self-efficacious way. I support them in recognizing and dismantling inner resistance, harmful or outdated beliefs. I offer workshops on topics such as overcoming fears, dissolving limiting beliefs, and building resilience. A focus of my work is personality psychology. Do you also do therapy? No, I chose counseling and coaching because you don't have to be ill or disordered to make life incredibly difficult for yourself. It's possible to do that without it. What did you study or what kind of training do you have? I have a university degree (Magister Artium: now called a Master's degree) in the humanities, a postgraduate degree as a psychological counselor/coach, I'm currently completing my Master's degree in clinical psychology, and I'm a licensed psychotherapist and systemic coach, plus I've completed numerous academic, therapeutic, and coaching training courses.
