More than five years ago, this Belgian farmer decided to settle in Ingrandes-de-Touraine. He immediately fell in love with this piece of land in the heart of the vineyards. It is here that Vincent, who likes to call himself a country cook, and his wife Olivia prepare simple, flavorful, and 100% natural cuisine daily. Come visit their exceptional estate, in the middle of a veritable agricultural playground. Julie will also travel the surrounding roads to meet other producers who care deeply about their terroir and the principles of environmentally friendly agriculture. Jacky Thiry Jacky is a longtime friend of Vincent Simon. A boat enthusiast, he learned to handle the toue, a typical boat that sails on the Loire and is used to haul sand. Pascal Henry This passionate arborist cultivates his 14,000 fruit trees without pesticides, grafting them himself. Among his seasonal specialties: vine peaches. As its name suggests, this fruit tree was once grown in vineyards, at the end of each row of vines. Anthony Foulon Before becoming interested in honey and bees, Anthony first worked in livestock farming, then as a gamekeeper, and more recently in the vineyards. When his beekeeper friend Jean-Louis Tuslane retired, he offered him the chance to take over the honey house in Gisieux. Since then, he has passionately harvested honey with his thirty-eight hives planted in the great outdoors, often near trees or a field of buckwheat, a honey-producing plant ideal for the bees' well-being.   / anthony.toulonapiculture   Pierre Gauthier This winemaker owns several plots of organic AOC Bourgueil vines. The most unusual and historic is the one he cultivates in an enclosed vineyard in Benais, a technique better known in Burgundy. These walls were built in the 17th century and are the producer's pride and joy. http://domainedubelair-bourgueil.fr/
