Sydney Trains Vlog 2278: Mariyung D Sets Enter Service

At last, Sydney’s Mariyung fleet have entered service. On Tuesday 3rd December 2024 Mariyung Sets D53 and D54 performed the very first Mariyung revenue service. It was run N814, the 8:20am Newcastle to Sydney service. In this video we see these D Sets on their first day of service. We have a look at the interior, ride quality and more. Personally, i think they are a great train! They look cool, they’re reliable and they’re comfortable.
