Sydney Trains Vlog 2503: The Southern Highlander
This video shows you a trip on The Southern Highlander run by Transport Heritage NSW. We start the journey at Central Station onboard beautiful car GMS1. The train is lead by diesel locomotives 4490 & 4306 from Central to Picton where the diesels detach. We then attach steam locomotives 3265 and 3526 which lead our train from Picton to Goulburn. We stay in Goulburn for an hour and a half before heading back to Picton behind the steamers. We then detach the steamers and reattach the diesels which leas us from Picton back to Central where the tour ends.
