STELLAR K5LA Horn From NS 1001!

Norfolk Southern SD70ACe no. 1001 spent some time in California's Central Valley in summer 2023. It trailed back and forth between Stockton, Bakersfield, and Barstow for a few round trips before finally leading a train. It was on point of the H-MODBAR traveling from Modesto to Barstow. I made my way up to Wasco, CA where I would chase the train east out to Sandcut along the UP Mojave Sub, just before the climb into the Tehachapi Pass. I had just woken up to the news that it was leading or I would have chased it longer down the Bakersfield Sub. But hey, I'll take what I can get! The engineer was definitely enjoying the locomotive and gave lots of horn and made himself present. This is one of my favorite K5LA horns I have heard.
