Although the opportunities offered by AI are truly impressive, the most important question remains: under what kind of regulation and human oversight should it be applied—especially when it threatens jobs, distorts reality, or its autonomous decisions become unpredictable. It’s no coincidence that leading American scientists working in this field already describe the most advanced form of AI—artificial superintelligence—as a real physical threat. While the promise of technological progress is enticing on one side, it is met on the other by towering ethical, social, and existential dilemmas. In this podcast, we attempt to understand where this rush is heading—and whether AI developers can keep their wits about them for the sake of humanity. We’ll be joined by György Tilesch, an international expert on artificial intelligence, and throughout the conversation, Sándor Friderikusz will pose several weighty questions to perhaps the most appropriate respondent: ChatGPT, a widely used form of AI.
