After marathon #6 in July 2025, I made a decision nobody around me understood. Instead of staying lean and training through, I bulked. Hard. 25 pounds. All the way up to 200 lbs. The goal was to iron plate my legs to prepare for the hills in Eau Claire. Then January 1st, 2026, I started the cut. Standing in a snowstorm in Milwaukee. 4 degrees. Day 1 of 122 days of marathon training. Lifting heavy and running through a full Wisconsin winter, trying to show up at that start line lean, strong, and ready to race. This is the full documentary.
