We loaded up the truck and headed deep into a remote river in Central Illinois for a catfishing trip we’ll never forget. Along with my buddy Ryan Dodd (Backwoods), we set out to camp on the river, run a trotline, and put out 10 bank poles in hopes of finding some big river cats. As the sun started dropping, things finally got interesting. Just before dark, one of our lines hooked into a solid fish and gave us a glimpse of what this river might be hiding… This is only Part 1.
