Welcome, beautiful souls, to this special Summer Solstice Yin practice [00:05]. The Summer Solstice represents the longest day of the year—a sacred time celebrated by our ancestors across the globe [00:16]. In this session, rather than seeking to build external heat, we use the soothing, gentle medicine of Yin Yoga to turn inward, salute the divine feminine, and celebrate the radiant light awakening within you [00:54]. Tonight’s practice is a sanctuary to mark the end of an era [01:31]. It is a safe, spacious container to gracefully let go of any limiting beliefs, habits, or heavy situations that no longer serve your freedom, and to make peace with where you are [01:35]. Through deeply grounding postures like Supta Baddha Konasana (Butterfly Pose) [10:38] and soothing spinal twists [10:49], we will: Give love and gratitude back to our bodies and organs [09:20] Surrender control and release the weight of the mind [11:13] Learn to receive the immense, divine love that always surrounds us [13:14] Rest in the quiet, spacious rhythm of our own hearts [11:04] Yin reminds us that doing less often means doing more [13:38]. By slowing down long enough, we ground ourselves back into our hearts and open up to the magnificent gift of life [12:24].
