Have you heard of Abura Soba? In Korean, it translates to gireummyeon (oil ramyeon) and it seems an easy abura soba recipe made with Korean ramyeon is going viral in Japan So, I decided to make my own version with Paik Ramen This was so delicious that I ate it in a flash I highly recommend it! 1 Paik Ramen (Recipe requires 1/2 (5g) of a packet of broth) About 3 cups of water (500ml) About 1/2 tablespoon (4g) of dark soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon (4g) of brewed vinegar 1/2 tablespoon (6g) of brown sugar 1 tablespoon (7g) of sesame oil About 2 stalks (15g) of scallion 6 sheets (about 3g) of jomi gin (seasoned laver) A bit of cooking oil 1 egg 1. Add 1/2 a packet of ramyeon broth, dark soy sauce, brewed vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil into a bowl and mix. *Add as many tablespoons of vinegar according to preference. *Add a bit of cumin powder if on hand. 2. Add seasoned laver into a plastic bag and crush into small pieces. *Use Laver flakes instead if on hand. 3. Chop scallions into small pieces. *Scallions can be substituted with green onions by slicing them in half vertically and chopping them into small pieces. 4. Add water into a pot, and once it comes to a boil, add the vegetable flakes and noodles, then boil for about 3 minutes. 5. Once the noodles are fully cooked, drain the water using a colander, and add the noodles into a bowl with the sauce inside while it's warm. 6. Dry the frying pan used to cook the noodles, add a good amount of cooking oil, and deep-fry the egg. 7. Garnish the noodles with chopped scallion and laver flakes, then place the fried egg on top to serve.
