Pierre Balmain founded his fashion house and re-enchanted post-war France with the theme "Paris is a party!" Chic and extravagant. Today, his worthy heir, Olivier Rousteing, a gifted 28-year-old, reigns over the collections, with a leitmotif: "to dazzle" despite the crises, for fervent fans including his muse Rihanna. Leather, raffia, rattan, plastic: the magician creates, with a twist of his hand, evening gowns with raised busts for women with a conquering silhouette. Fur sweaters, a rope sheath dress, recolored with a yellow marker for three days: between braids and trendy cut-and-paste, the Balmain line still triumphs, even if Constance Jablonsky, a fashionable model, faints, her body (a little too) tightened by one of her belts.
