More CN C40-8 Locomotives Scrapped at Chicago Heights Processing!
On April 23rd, 2022, I revisited Chicago Heights Processing in Chicago Heights, Illinois to see if anymore Canadian National Dash 8 series locomotives had been scrapped. I flew my drone over the facility and found more engines that had been cut up since my last visit. Two more C40-8Ms had met their fate, with one of them being completely cut in half horizontally! A few more ex-Santa Fe C40-8Ws were also scrapped. Soon enough, the whole facility will be filled to the brim with locomotive remnants! —————————————————————————— Thanks for watching!
