What a Maine Lobsterman Does on His Day Off...
Before lobster fishing season gets underway, I snuck up to the western mountains of Maine to fish for Native Brook Trout. Instead of finding trout, I found more suckers than I have ever seen before. The stream was overflowing with them. I shifted gears and made catching a white sucker the goal of the day. Afterwards, I finally found the brook trout, albeit, smaller than I was hoping.
