Well, after a six-month hiatus I returned to MSFS from P3D. I went over to P3D for the PMDG 777 as I was a real 777 Captain, and flying several aircraft on MSFS was affecting my job performance. On the other hand, flying the 777 on P3D actually helped me at work. No rap on P3D, as I really loved the honesty and performance accuracy of the study level PMDG 777. However, I am trying to build a following, and MSFS is by far the most followed. I am looking for an aircraft to fly during Cross the Pond Eastbound in late October. The event is sponsored by VATSIM, and it has fully staffed ATC for the entire transatlantic experience. Very cool. I have decided to fly either the Kuro 787-8 or the TFDI MD-11 if it is on-line by then. However, I have received a few suggestions to use the A310 by Inibuilds. The A310 is a free study-level aircraft on MSFS, and I have 5000 hours albeit from 30 years ago! However, I have never flown the 787, so I really want to try learning this aircraft.
