Real 737 Captain (Ret.) flies the PMDG 737-800 in MSFS 2020 to get ready for the MSFS 2024 rollout!

Well, in anticipation of PMDG bringing the 737-800 to MSFS 2024, I decided to start refamiliarizing myself with the airframe. I loved it. Strange thing happened on touchdown in Vegas, but such is the life of a flight-simmer! Don't tell me that the PMDG products are not "study level". They are an unbelievable training aid for a real pilot. This stuff is beyond great! I currently reside in Connecticut. I am a 1980 US Air Force Academy graduate and a seven-year Air Force instructor pilot. I have flown for a major US Airline since 1987 and I retired in September of 2023. I have been type-rated in the MD-80, B-737, B-757, B-767, B-777, A-300-600 and the MD-11. I am a recently retired (9/6/23) 777 Captain. I have traveled the world, and I have come to the conclusion that there is no place like home. It's been a great ride. I had been waiting so long for the PMDG 777 and the TFDi MD-11 to make it to MSFS. I flew the PMDG 777 a lot on P3D, and I am part of the TFDi MD-11 Quality Assurance team, so my flight-sim-dreams are coming true! Both of these airplanes are incredible, and both are "buy now" add-ons in my opinion. Interesting fact about my initial jump into flight simulation while still an active 777Captain for American Airlines. I went over to P3D for the PMDG 777 as I was a real 777 Captain, and flying several aircraft on MSFS was affecting my job performance. On the other hand, flying the 777 on P3D actually helped me at work. No rap on P3D, as I really loved the honesty and performance accuracy of the study level PMDG 777.
