Quand de jeunes chantres serbes rassemblent l'orthodoxie byzantine de Paris
As we approach the exceptional concert that will bring together choirs from five Byzantine Orthodox traditions in the Paris region on May 9, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. in the Saint-Denis Cathedral Basilica, we are publishing a video presentation of the Saint Justin of Chelie Choir, from the Serbian Orthodox parish of Saint Paraskeva in Bondy, which initiated this project. The Saint Justin of Chelie Choir is composed of young singers who have known each other since early childhood. Trained together within the parish, they have gradually discovered the beauty of Byzantine chant and, through their commitment, wish to contribute to enriching the liturgical life of their community and reach out to other Orthodox traditions in the Île-de-France region.
