Questions du cœur avec le père Irénée Gribov : le Christ est ressuscité !

In this new episode of "Questions of the Heart," Father Irénée Gribov focuses on the heart of the Christian faith: Easter. He proposes exploring it through three perspectives. First, the icon of Christ's descent into hell, which shows Christ grasping Adam and Eve by the wrists to snatch them from death—a sign that salvation is an act of God. Second, the time: the variable date of Easter, calculated since the Council of Nicaea according to the equinox and the full moon, differs between East and West due to different calendars, but it is one and the same feast. Finally, the common questions: Easter did not originate from a pagan festival but from the announcement of the resurrection; the word comes from the Hebrew Pesach (passage), which for Christians signifies the passage from death to life in God. Father Irénée invites everyone, Orthodox or not, to come and discover the Easter celebration on the night of Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 April, in the Orthodox parishes.
