Barcones (Soria)

In Barcones, the transhumant path that leads from Medinaceli to El Burgo de Osma, passing by the Paredes salt flats, and the path that leads from Berlanga de Duero to Atienza converge. Although the municipality of Barcones has belonged to the province of Soria since its municipal planning in 1833, first integrated into the judicial district of Medinaceli and now into that of Almazán, its material and artistic culture must be studied in relation to Guadalajara.
