I spent the winter holidays of 2024 travelling in Japan. In this video you'll come with me to my first winter hike in the mountains and to stay at a mountain hut as the only foreigner. My previous winter hike experience was only daytrips from a hut. I hadn't tried crampons on before. What I love the most about Japan are the onsens (hot springs) so visiting here was obviously one of my dreams. Welcome aboard! :-) 📍 Trail: Honzawaonsen Iriguchi Parking Lot - Honzawa Onsen - Mt.
