Hello friends. Hyundai has released another Toyota killer, and for some it may truly be so, while others will simply laugh and pass it by. The eighth-generation Hyundai Elantra made its world premiere at the Busan Mobility Show. In the brand's home market of Korea, this model is better known as the Avante. But that doesn't change the essence. The previous generation Elantra debuted six years ago, and in that time, the car has changed so much that it's quite difficult to recognize the previous compact sedan in the new model. The first thing that catches the eye is, of course, the design. Hyundai's previous smooth design language is finally a thing of the past, giving way to the brand's broader, more sculpted "Art of Steel" style. Bugatti and the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin have created a hypercar with elements of real porcelain—and I'm not kidding. While the last examples of the limited-edition W16 Mistral are leaving the assembly line, the brand has decided to say goodbye to the legendary 8.0-liter engine in a special way. In collaboration with Berlin porcelain manufacturer KPM, the unique Mistral "Blanc Éternel" roadster was created, truly combining the engineering precision of a hypercar with the centuries-old craftsmanship of porcelain manufacture for the first time. The idea itself is not new: fifteen years ago, Bugatti and the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin joined forces to produce the unique Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc—one of the first truly bespoke projects in the brand's recent history, whose design was inspired by a white porcelain vase by designer Enzo Mari. The new Ferrari Luce, Ferrari's first production electric car, is enjoying an unexpectedly strong sales start in China, one of the most important markets for ultra-luxury electric cars. According to several industry sources, the initial quota of 88 cars for the Chinese market was either completely sold out or almost completely reserved immediately after ordering opened. At the same time, there remains a certain confusion around the numbers: some dealers claim that there are still free slots, but the fact of excitement is already difficult to deny.
