Yaesu FTdx5000MP: Memory Channel Selection #hamradio #ftdx5000 #memory #channel #selection

#hamradio #ftdx5000 #memory #channel #selection Those of you who follow me know that I’m a huge fan of the Yaesu FTdx5000MP Limited. In fact, I chose it over the FTdx101MP. If you asked me to name something about the radio that I would consider a negative, I could do it, but it would come under the heading of being nit-picky. Here goes... I feel that the steps to cycle through memory groups, and memory channels, is not very intuitive, and it requires multiple button presses. This video illustrates what I am referring to. I do concede that, once you get used to it, it’s not so bad. I'm just saying that it isn't very intuitive, unlike many of the other procedures related to operating this radio effectively. I am in the business of teaching how to operate software, so I am all about technology being made to be as intuitive as possible. But again, like I said, this comes under the heading of nit-picking. I hope you find this information helpful. One correction: I mistakenly called the V/M button the A/B button. I hope you find this video informative and helpful.
