During his college years, fr. Robert fell away from the Church. For over a decade, faith was not a part of his life. After he was laid off from a large technology company, where he worked in marketing, he returned to his family home. On his parents insistence he began attending Holy Mass again which ultimately made him rediscover a life of faith. He had a profound experience in the sacrament of reconciliation. Soon after, Fr. Robert began discerning a vocation to a religious life. As a young seminarian, he first heard about Medjugorje, the place where millions of pilgrims from around the world come seeking peace, healing, and conversion through the messages of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. Years later, after being ordained as a Catholic priest, he finally made his first pilgrimage to Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
