The cotton mentioned in the film's title refers to the downy fibers that emerge when the pod bursts open, leaving behind the fallen cotton flower. Although it is a fruit, it is so fine and beautiful that it is called the 'second flower.' The film embodies the precious wish that our children, who tragically perished, will be reborn and live new lives.
