Dragon Gas Truth & Covid Court Facts

In this press conference, I set the record straight on two important issues facing Trinidad and Tobago. First, I spoke about the Dragon Gas project and the UNC government’s sudden U-turn on a deal they once declared “dead.” I reminded the public that the success of any cross-border gas arrangement depends on transparency, diplomacy, and honesty — and I called on the government to come clean about whether they have an OFAC license. Second, I addressed the recent Court of Appeal decision regarding the COVID-19 travel regulations . The Court made it clear that it understood the need to impose restrictions, during an unprecedented time. It’s important that the facts of this ruling are properly understood. Time is longer than twine and the truth always comes to light.
