Motion to adopt the report of the Standing Finance Committee

Today in Parliament, I contributed to the debate on the Motion to Adopt the Report of the Standing Finance Committee. I challenged the Government on its continued failure to address the serious issues facing our economy and energy sector. Despite promises and rhetoric, there remains little evidence of a coherent plan to restore growth, attract investment, create jobs, or secure Trinidad and Tobago's long-term economic future. The Government must be held accountable for its decisions, its priorities, and its stewardship of the nation's finances.
