Savanarola Dragon chair restoration and major repair

A chair with dragon carved arms in a classic x shaped design, sometimes called a Savanarola chair or Dante chair / Dantesca chair or in some countries a Luther chair. The original design comes from the Roman Curule chairs. The curved laminated base of this chair had been used as a step and was broken. We repair the damage and restore the chair including filling some woodworm holes and adding wax and polish.
