In 1 Peter 5:6–11, Peter shows us how the Christian lives under the mighty hand of God in the midst of suffering, fear, and spiritual struggle. The call is not to panic or self-sufficiency, but to humility, to casting all burdens on God, to watchfulness, and to strong resistance in faith. This message reminds us that the same hand that presses down for a while is the mighty hand that holds us, guards us, and will lift us up in His due time.
