We showcase beautiful and scenic routes through Germany. In 2022, we traveled by motorhome, discovering landscapes, small towns, and unique experiences off the beaten track. The young Danube begins in Donaueschingen. Beyond Immendingen, the Danube disappears underground, later re-formed by its tributaries. One of its most beautiful stretches begins after Tuttlingen, with its steep Jurassic limestone cliffs. Beuron Abbey is nestled in a secluded Danube valley. The castle of the Swabian-Prussian Hohenzollern dynasty stands in Sigmaringen. On the edge of the Swabian Alb, the natural phenomenon known as the Blautopf (Blue Pot) is located in Blaubeuren. Ulm welcomes its visitors with the Ulm Sparrow (a local landmark). This video is part of our journey through Germany.
