Vida en España Playlist    • 🇪🇸 España: Inmersión   Welcome to Andalusia, in the south of Spain, a region full of sun, history and unique traditions. Seville, the Andalusian capital, is a fascinating city for its mix of cultures, its outstanding architecture and its warm atmosphere. The city has approximately seven hundred thousand inhabitants, and its metropolitan area reaches nearly one million five hundred thousand. It is not only the administrative and economic center of the region, but also one of the birthplaces of flamenco, with numerous tablaos and traditional festivals. Seville enjoys a continental Mediterranean climate, with very hot summers, where temperatures can easily exceed thirty-five degrees and sometimes reach forty degrees. Winters are mild, rarely falling below five degrees, and rain is concentrated between November and February. This climate explains the active life on the terraces and streets throughout the year. The city is famous for its exceptional historical and cultural heritage. Among the essentials, the Seville Cathedral and its famous Giralda tower stand out, which show the city's Gothic and Islamic legacy. A few steps away, the Alcázar, an old Moorish palace still used by the royal family, surprises with its decorated gardens and patios. The Plaza de España, with its monumental architecture and colorful tiles, and the María Luisa Park, perfect for walking, complete this Sevillian postcard. For a modern contrast, the Metropol Parasol, known as “Las Setas”, offers a unique contemporary structure with panoramic views of the city and local markets.
