The Backlight Rule I Break On Every Interior

The only thing I care about with backlight on interiors is what's happening in the background. If the background is front-lit, you're in trouble. Now instead of a 4K you need an M90 or a 12K just to balance. The whole job gets bigger and slower. My preferred approach: key light from outside through the window, backlight from inside on the opposite side. It's easier to control, I can adjust it without getting on comms with someone outside, and it doesn't spill everywhere. Outside I go backlight same side as the sun. Inside I go opposite side.
