IMATSU 18” Industrial HV Stand Fan | Kipas Angin Industri

Industrial fans, commercial fans, cool fans—whatever you call them! I never really thought about getting one of these industrial fans before. They’re not common in homes because they’re way too powerful for everyday use, and they’re much louder than regular home fans. Plus, they’re super heavy, so moving them around the house can be a pain. In January 2024, I watched a video of a fan enthusiast reviewing his 2-blade industrial stand fan, and suddenly I was really interested in getting one. I loved the design and the neutral shape. I was also curious to see what it’d be like to have a real industrial fan at home that could last a lifetime. At first, I wanted to find an HV fan with 2 blades. But in Indonesia, these are really hard to come by right now since almost all brands have switched to 3-blade HV industrial fans. Out of all the brands and models available, I chose the IMATSU (a sub-brand of CKE) model 45 NH-SY. It’s got a classic, neutral look in its original silver color, and this design has been around for decades! This fan is made entirely of iron, except for the knob, which is plastic. It has pretty basic features: 3 speeds and an adjustable oscillator located at the bottom of the motor cover. I’m always impressed by how stable it is, thanks to the bearing motor, and how the slim blades produce such powerful wind. Plus, the oscillation is really slow, so the air distribution is super even. Even though I’m really happy with this fan, I’m still hoping that someday I can get another 2-blade industrial HV fan in a larger size that I can use daily in my dream home.
