With a population of 5,557 residents as of 2020, the town sits roughly 50 miles south of Atlanta via I-75. Some interesting facts about the town include the center of population of Georgia being located 9 miles northwest of Jackson and, most notably, the town being used as the setting for the hit show Stranger Things.
