Ben does some important maintenance on his tomato plants in the polytunnel. In this video you’ll see: • Snipping off pointless side shoots that get in the way • Checking on a new tomato variety that’s growing a bit strangely (Ben decides to leave it and see what happens) • Looking at the survivors from the tomato grafting experiment • Twirling the stems further around the string supports • Feeding the tomatoes with higher potassium (K) potato fertiliser (yes, it’s not just for potatoes!) You also get another look at the incredible grape vine that has now grown almost the entire length of the polytunnel — currently around 30ft long with loads of baby grape bunches!
