Converting Flood & Drain Table to Hydroponics | Chemical Nutrients & PPM Testing

Ben converts his existing flood & drain (ebb & flow) table into a hydroponics system. In this video you’ll see: • How simple the conversion is (mainly changing the pump and timings) • Following expert advice to start with chemical nutrients (organic hydro can be tricky for beginners) • Testing and adjusting the PPM (parts per million) to get the right nutrient levels • What crops he’s throwing at it first: beetroot, leafy greens/lettuce, basil, tomatoes, possibly cucumbers and more This is the start of a long-term hydroponics experiment on the allotment. Ben wants to see if he can double his yield, whether there’s a taste difference, and which crops perform best. Follow along as he continues testing and learning!
