In this video, I show a difficult moment we went through here in Ghana, Africa… 😔 My Brazilian wife fell ill and I had to rush her to the hospital. That's when reality hit hard. Here, nothing is free. We had to pay for everything: care, exams, medication… everything. And this made me reflect a lot on the healthcare system in Brazil. Many people complain about the SUS (Brazilian public healthcare system), but only understand its true value when they experience a situation like this abroad. Even with its difficulties, the SUS saves lives every day and offers free care to millions of people.
