Slowly but surely | Shravan Sridhar | TEDxSriSairamIT

Shravan Sridhar has been trained in Indian Carnatic vocals and violin for a combined 19 years. In this talk, he has shared how his career in engineering slowly faded into the background as he started his own band, "Non-Violinist project". His delve into music happened when he was pursuing engineering and he began experimenting with different genres such as blues, jazz, and metal in a small room, a contrast to the devotional Carnatic music he was taught as a child, which led to him opening a SoundCloud comprising solely of his works. He is one of the most sought-after violinists in India and has opened for legends such as Indian Ocean and Strings. Shravan Sridhar has been the epitome of a myriad of musical genres on a violin for more than fifteen years This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
