A surprise heat wave, in Ireland? Could this scupper my photography?

30 degree heat and wall to wall blues on the West coast of Ireland is not what I anticipated (or packed for!) So finding work arounds was the only solution - oh and ditching my thermals. Contrary to my initial fears, it turned out I could have both photo time and a break... it did mean some horrendously early starts day after day... ugh!
