A Heart to Discern (2 Samuel 11-12; 1 Kings 3; 6-9; 11) - With Preston Brown
In this episode, Eddie and Ellis—joined by Logan Self and Brother Preston Brown—study 2 Samuel 11–12 and 1 Kings 3, 6–9, and 11, exploring the stories of David and Bathsheba, Solomon’s gift of discernment, the building of the temple, and the fall of two great kings. Together, they discuss temptation, repentance, temple covenants, and the importance of staying spiritually vigilant. Through David’s mistakes and Solomon’s wisdom, they reflect on what it means to seek “a heart to discern” and rely on the Holy Ghost to help us recognize truth, make righteous choices, and stay close to the Lord.
